Dear Friends,

When i run the CK11N for a FG, i observed that some child parts are not picking the price from PIR.

When i checked the log box, i have seen the below error and checked as SAP recommended in the message - OBBS T code.

SG028Ambiguous EUR/USD exchange rate relations

When i checked the OBBS table, i didn't find any mistake, also this is the first time i see this issue.

EURXEURUSD01/01/180011

MEURUSD01/01/199911EURX
MEURUSD01/01/180011

PEURUSD01/01/199911EURO
PEURUSD01/01/180011EURO
SPOTEURUSD01/01/200011SPOT
SPOTEURUSD01/01/199911SPOT

Controlling area currency is USD

Child part price currency is EUR

In OB08, the rates are available for EURX and M with recent dates.

Please through some light on the issue

Thanks,

Narasimhulu

Not sure but try by maintaining rates for EURO also in OB08. Just guessing whether EX Rt. - P i.e. standard translation for cost planning has something do with it.

Hi Diviraj,

Thanks for your response

As far as i know, we don't need EURO to be maintained in OBBS. Bcoz, EURX is dealing with EUR and M is already there.

Please advise

Thanks

Got the solution.

Problem is that the Costing run takes the P rate to convert Foreign currency price into Controlling area currency.

In OBBS, P rate conversion has been maintained correctly. We have a filed called "Alternative Ex. Rate Type in the table (last column). This has been updated with Ex. rate type "EURO' which should be "EURX"

PEURUSD01/01/199911EURO
PEURUSD01/01/180011EURO

Tested now, going to propose the solution now

Thanks for your help
