Virtual Keys Figures

Dear All,

We used virtual keys figures to display converted value on BW reports.

To convert values we use a master data populated from R3 on the daily basis, on which one we have conversion factor corresponding to product.

The issue is the following :

If the factor of conversion for the target unit selected doesn't exist in this table of conversion the value 0 will be display in the report instead of the right value.

Do you know how we could display error message if conversion factor doesn't exist ? can we used function module ? any idea ?

    Thanks siggi,

what you propose to me is to do something like that:

    SELECT factorBT FROM /BIC/PZAPO_MATU

    WHERE APO_PROD = i_product

    AND /BIC/ZAPO_MATU = i_mat_unit

    AND objvers = 'A'.

    IF sy-subrc = 0.

    factor = factorBT

    ELSIF.

    <u> MESSAGE ID i_product TYPE 'E' NUMBER '004' WITH 'no conversion factor'</u>

    endif.

    Hi,

    welcome to the SDN.

I think there is no way to raise a message with a popup or something else, unfortunately. But what you can do instead of posting a 0 if a entry in the table is not found is raising a message of type X using

    message X000(Message-ID).

This should give you an error popup in the BEX.

    regards

    Siggi
