Smartforms some doubts !

Hi All,

Just have some doubts about smartforms.

1.Is it necessary to create a structure of the internal table which I want to display as o/p?

2.If the main window is having 2 or more tables(i.e more than one internal table), why these tables fields are not

accessable in other table's loop?. If accessable how?

3.What is difference between loop i/o parameters & table i/o parameters?

    Hi Dillip,

1.) You just have to define a structure for the work-aerea (WA) within the Global Definitions.

ex.) Your ddic-Struc = ZSTRUC ==> Table Parameters of the FM.

    define: GF_STRUC type ZSTRUC

2.) In the Dta section of the Loop/Table Node you must

    assign Data to this Work-aerea.

Assume your input table of the FM = IT_TAB

2.) In the Main Window you can define as many loops as you want. It only depends on the data-definition-section.

It even is possible to create one loop twice! <please don't do that 😊)>

3.) The difference between . It works allways.

If you want to get access to a Working Area outside of

the Main window, you must insert a COMMAND-NODE and fill

    the WA manually.

    "read table it_tab into gf_struc index ..."

    "read table it_tab into gf_struc wíth key ..." ...

Then You can use all fileds of GF_STRUC

    Hope I could help you

1.If your output table is not having standard structure like MARA,then you have to create it in Types in Global definitions or we can create userdefined struture in SE11.Otherwise , we can simply refer that struture without creating it.

2.If you are little bit more specific within an example,I can understand.

3.As far I know, we use i/o parameters for program lines.
