CN30 incorrect confirmations

Good evening PS Gurus,

I am not getting incorrect confirmations in CN30 error pool.

After CAT2 entry , whenI transfer hours to PS, if the network is closed that entry need to be parked in error pool.

Where in it’s not?

Please let me know if there is any SAP note.

Thanks

MM

Hi, You will see an error at the time of entering time against closed network acitivities. Let us assume that you passed that phase and what kind of message did you see while transferring the hours to receiving objects. Certainly not possible because system did not let you save time recording against closed NWA.

Because of that reason it might not be showing in CN30. Check once again.

    Hi,

Make sure this particular entry is picked up for transfer and is not awaiting any approval process.

    Hi,

Generally - Incorrect confirmations / Error Log from CATS seats in three Transaction Codes: CN30, COFC and IW46. Just have doubly check in CN30 or COFC Transaction Code if there is any such error message or not.

Also there may be some potential that error was there then this NWA is Opended temporary and error got cleared and again NWA is CLSD. So just have look at Change Log for NWA as well. It will be worth checking CJI3 report as well whether really there is no such line item for that day or is there.

Hope all this will atleast tends towards re-confirmation and then helps for further investigation.

    Hi,

If NWA is closed, time booking on this NWA will not be allowed and system will throw an error message as "System status CLSD is active". In this case, you need to go to change documents and check on what date status CLSD is active for this NWA.

Also just have a look at the transaction COFC and IW46 if there are any incorrect confirmation lying for NWA in question.

    Hello All,

I was able to find the solution.

When ever time confirmation is done for last month , then we try to remove the old & try to post (this will not generate the error pool).

    Once again Many thanks guys.

      Hi,

Can you please elaborate what do you mean by "try to remove old & try to post".

You mean to say selection of current month rather than selecting current year or selecting a period range while transferring the approved time to receiving objects in CAT5.

      Regards,

      Sudhakar
