Applying OSS Note

Hi,

Can anyone tell me, how do I apply a OSS Note to any particular application after downloading the note from service.sap.com.

Any help would be highly rewarded.

Rgds,

    Hi,

The best way is to use the note assistant. You can start it with transaction SNOTE. If this does not work ask your basis administrator to install the note assistant, otherwise you have to make the changes manually.

    Hi Sailatha,

You can apply the note that you have downloaded through the transaction SNOTE.But it is most important that you go through the steps specified in the note.It will tell you what needs to be done.If there are manual corrections required like changing the parameters then you cannot work with SNOTE.If you have an OSS note id then log onto OSS1 and you will find more info there.

    Cheers
