Hi,

it checks for client category. It has to be Customizing.

Hello Martin,

Thanks for the reply.

I just would like to know how this checks for client category?

How we can customize this?

Hi,

transaction SCC4. But this is a really important transaction. So it's not a good idea to change settings of client because of SCAL. I am not sure but the calendars should be client independent so you can go to customizing client and transport it from there.

Cheers

Hello Martin,

Thanks again for your reply.

I have cheked scc4 settings all are correct. even i tried with sap* id to see if it allows me to get the highlight option in there, but again it is not highlighting.

Even I have read some other post and i got to know that factory calender is not transportable you have to change it manually in every client.

Please let me know if you have any idea on that.

Hello Raghav,

In the initial screen of SCAL itself you can see the truck button (Calender-->Transport), by using this you can transport the request across lanndscape.

Now after entering SCAL, do necessary changes under Public Holiday / Holiday Calendar / Factory calendar then save all changes & come back to initial screen and select the Truck button to create transport request number.

So on a whole changes inside SCAL only we can transport (Calender-->Transport) from home screen. Try this way and confirm.

Hello Durga,

Thanks for the reply. It is helpful indeed.

Once we do the changes and save it and come back to initial screen and click on the transport it will transport all the calender factory, holiday, public holiday. In case if I want to do changes specifically in Factory calender and transport from the same scree (transport button is greyed out ), will that be possible.

Hello Raghav,

Even if you do changes specifically in either of any Public Holiday / Holiday Calendar / Factory calendar, above procedure will be same. You have to come to home screen for tranport button after doing necessary changes.

You can verify the same in other client (testing client other than customizing one), as these changes are client independent.

Hello Durga,

Thanks for the help.Do you know the exact reason why transport button is greyed out in every calender, for us this is happening in ECC system.

Hello Raghav,

I believe even in higher SAP versions (we are on ERP6.0) also this will be same. If someone using EHPs, they should tell us about this SCAL screen.
