datatype length HANA studio

is it possible to increase the column length from 2 to 10.

I am getting below error, if I execute this statement. Could anyone pls correct me where I am making mistake?

As the message says, you have specified a wrong column name in your ALTER statement. I assume that your column name is a mix of upper and lower cases. As you do not have enclosed the column name in double quotes the column name is converted to an uppercase name (as printend in the message).

In case your column name is written like "Middlename" enclose it in double quotes in the statement:

ALTER TABLE "XXXX"."Cust_Mst" ALTER ("Middlename" nvarchar(10));
