Retrieve image from Database

Product details:

BO WebI XI3.1 SP4 FP4.1

Database: Oracle 10g

Problem:

We need to display images stored in the database as LOB. We do not want to keep images in the BOE server as there are more than 2 GB files. Any way to achieve this ?

Hi Arijit,

I don't know if this can help you :

What you could do, if you wanted this to work with Webi/Deski, is to put the images on a web server. Then have a table in the database with the URL to the images. You could then create a report with this table and it would display the images. YOu would of course have to set the column to Display Image URL, but at least it would show up.

But as I said, I do not want to keep the image files in the web server. Is there any way to retrieve images stored in database ?
