hey can anyone tell me how can I check the version inconsistency of J2EE and ABAP stack of Solution Manager?
Hi,
for eg: if the sap_basis level is 7.X 11 on your solman, your J2EE software component level should be 7.X.11..
2nd method is to check the stack in SAPNet, and compare in software component for ABAP and JAVA.
To check the abap software component level - go to system -> status
to check Java software component level - go to http://yourhost:5XX00 -> system info.
Cheers,

Hi,
The same some time before we faced in our enviroment itself.http://scn.sap.com/thread/3173203
you can easily check that with
Service.sap.com/swdc -> support packages -> there select solution manager -> click the
link to application stack level, there you can see the SP content for both ABAP and Java.
Now come to your system, check did you have the same . In our case we updatedsolman abap part from SP00 to SP04.
But java was still the initial shipment level (LM SERVICE Level of 00). And later we done the upgrade to Java using option "Link to SP Stack level".
If both are inconsistent your managed system configuration fails in the first place itself.
and check this also SAP Community Network Wiki - SAP Solution Manager Setup - Maintenance of Product in the System La...
Thanks,
Jansi
