Z Transaction Type not appearing under first level navigation in CRM Web UI Client.

Hello All,

I have copied the standard service order transaction type which is SRVO into Z and under channel I have also marked the same as relevant for GUI CRM Web Client UI, however now when I go to my specific role in CRM Web Ui  I cannot see the same under the first level navigation, the first level navigation consists of entries like Home Calendar Work list and Service Order when i click on service Order only the standard service order appears the Z service order transaction type which I copied does not come, please advise if I need to make further configurations on the same.

Hi Atul,

I copied from SRVO standard transaction type some Z transaction type, I just had to customize channel for CRM web UI. it is coming in Web Ui then. Could you please see this customizations and also that you have authorization of transaction type. Please verify with standard profile SERVICEPRO.

Hi Ajay,

My issue stands resolved please read my above post which I am again pasting. (This pertains to one of the configurations you should check if you have full authorizations and you have made all the required configurations as well)

Interaction Centre Webclient- Go to Business Transactions-Define Business Transaction Profiles, go to Default and then click on Dependent Business transactions here you need to add your Ytransaction type, please note that sometimes when clicking on default the system may throw a dump hence you can copy the Default profile to ZDEFAULT and then assign your  Z business transaction  type by clicking on Dependent business transaction type.

Next you need to go to Define Business Roles and go to your role which you have defined and then click on Assign Function Profiles you need to add or check if the following functional profile IC_BT exists under function profile, if not then you need to add the same once you add this under Profile value assign Default or Z default as what you had assigned above with this the Z transaction type would be visible when you perform your Web Ui transaction

Hello ,

You have to change the description of the Transaction type since in Web UI description only visible or else through personalization button you can make Transaction Type visible. Please refer the screen shot for your reference. Still problem persist kindly get back.

Hi Sakthivel,

I have changed the description under Define Transaction Type in CRM Gui itself however the transaction itself is not visible when I click on the first level navigation in CRM Web Ui, I am thinking there is some customizing missing for the same.

With regards to personalization option if I can view the standard transaction types the Z transaction should also be visible however let me know if otherwise and where do I need to make the change.

Hello Atul,

Here you must do the configuration after creating Transaction Type.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copy Control for Business Transactions->Define Copying Control for Transaction Types.

If problem solved close the thread or else get back.

Hello Sakthivel,

I have maintained the copy control settings between SRVO standard service order and YSRV which I have copied however the same does not appear in Web UI, please advise what config I need to check further.

Hello Atul,

You have to configure  Define Item Category Determination when Copying also.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copy Control for Business Transactions->Define Item Category Determination when Copying

After that close the browser and log in again.

Hello Sakthivel,

However as per my understanding this needs to be done when your source document which is a contract for ex has a different item category and target document which is service order has a different item category, hence if my customised service order is not appearing in Web Ui this setting would not work I guess in my case the copied transaction type which is the same as the standard  does not appear in crm web ui.

However I have maintained the above setting as said by you and the same is not coming.

There is one configuration further which you need to perform. Go to
