Difference in certification for portal versions

Hi all,

I am appearing foe ep certification c_tep10_701 which is for portal version 7.01 but the material i have is tep10 and tadm10 that are for portal 6.0. Please can anybody suggest if I can appear for the certification for version 7.01 by studying 6.0? what are the extra funtionalities and how do I prepare for it?
