Unable to Get data in Bex Analyzer 7.x but can open through Bex Analyzer 3.x

Hi,

I am unable to get the data in BEx Analyzer7.x when i execute a query . But I can get the data when i execute a query in BEx Analyzer 3.x

Please help me out.

Hi,

check the server connection

check following thread as well

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3150969

those setting might be available for 3.x and not for BI7.X

Check with basis and get the connection done..

Hi.

i can open the query in query designer 7.x and also in 3.x also. And also i am able to execute the query in portal also.

But am not able to execute the query in analyser 7.x but am able to do it in 3.x

Please help me out.

Hi,

It seems that your user is not using SAP Default Workbook as a default workbook.

Could you please check Table RSRWBTEMPLATE , If it contains any entry for your user then it uses SAP Standard Global Workbook. If the User ID doesn't exist in this table, then it will use the workbook assigned to the <blank> user id. If the <blank> user id is assigned to <blank> workbook, this means that any user id that doesn't have an entry in this table will be use the global workbook.
