Setting up Pay Grade Structure

Hi experts,

I'm a student learning about SAP HCM payroll, and for my project I have to create pay grade structure for my employees.

I've already set up a pay scale structure and it is working fine, however for pay grade structure it gives me an error saying 'IndVal of wage type 1012: No entry in table T510 for key '2501012DIRECTOR01 ' on 29.12.2016'.

Do I have to set up wage types for pay grade structure? If so, how do i set up wage types for them?

Steps that I did to set up pay grade structure:

1. Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Payroll Data > Basic Pay > Check total salary against salary range > Define pay grades and levels (Grades & Ranges)

The error message '2501012DIRECTOR01 ' on 29.12.2016' should be the key in Table T510.

In table view V_T510, for Country Grouping 25, PS Type 01 and PS Area 01, create an entry for ES Grouping for CAP 2, PS Group DIRECTOR and Level 01.
