CIF integration issue :Master data update... "BSG BSG001 does not exist"

Hello All,

We have an issue in the production system where in the product after the showing in the active integration model is not reflected in the /sapapo/mat1

We have genarated an active integration model for a product/location in ERP and every thing is fine and we also see this particular combination in the active model in ERP system, but we are not able to see that master data in SAP APO.

In our system, it is an automatic process that happens and we never face this issue till now. But it is only happens for one product and location combination.

And we get the a queue block in SMP giving that "BSG BSG001 does not exist". until and unless we delete that queue, the intergartion program is running in ERP.

Once we delete the queue, the intergration program ends normally and nothing is updated in SAP APO(No master data is integrated). 

Could any one suggest some check points that we are missing?

Hi Venkata,

Make sure you have entries for the BSG in SCM transaction /SAPAPO/C2.  There should be two entries, one for your ECC system and one for the SCM system.

In ECC run RAPOKZFX in SE38 to make sure that all material masters in the integration model are set up as APO relevant. 

Use CFM5 to make sure the material is not used in more than one integration model.

Finally, try using RIMODINI to do an intial load of your materials.

Thanks for the reply..

I have followed the above process,

There is only one integration model related to that porduct/location.

And ran the RIMODINI program in ERP. While executing, we got the below error.

But our product/Location was not intergarted in APO.

And we tried the other way,

We have changed the status of Product/location as "not relavant for APO" and re-generated the intergartion model.

And we find the below blocked queue and the error message(attached).

Could you please check the attachent if have any idea about the error message

"The current LUW had to be terminated during the processing of object  due to a lock collision".

Can you please let us know how to remove the LOCK COLLISIONS

Hi Manoj,

The error shows that you are running into liveCache locking.  Unfortunately, there could be many reasons for the error.  However, it is unusual to get the //CIF021 error for materials.  Here are my thoughts.

1. What was the thinking behind making the material non-APO relevant?

2. Before running RIMODINI, did you ensure that there were no blocked queues in SMQ2?  You can see all queue status's in /SAPAPO/CQ.

3. What versions and SP levels of ECC and SCM do you have?

4. See if Note 1261674 "Initial Transfer of Products Is Not Complete" is applicable to your system.

5. To delete lock entries, use transaction SM12.  Remove user ID and execute.  If the are no processes ocurring and/or locks are old, delete them by selecting them and using the trash can.

6. Is the "BSG does not exist" error fixed?  Are these new errors?  Did you have to add anything to customization?

Let me know what happens.

The note 1261674 implemented has worked and the products got integrated successfully in APO.
