Extract on BW report Source of Location detail from APO SNP

Hi,

i need to extract on BW side the SNP data related to Key Figure /BI0/9APSHIP - Distr.Receipt (Plnd) with detail Material and Location and SOURCE of SUPPLY in order to distinguish between Distribution receipt related to Production material and Distribution receipt related to Purchased material (associated to a purchase requisition).

We extract the data using standard datasource 9AMALO but there isn't the Source of Supply detail.

Which is the standard way to extract Source of supply detail from APO or Purchase requisition data from APO?

Thanks,

Veronica

Hi Veronica,

1. Please verify the t.lane and means of transport using t.code /SAPAPO/SCC_TL1. It should be active for a reasonable date range.

2. Check the Purchase request or order in the SNP planning book for a source of supply. Use t.code /SAPAPO/SNP94 and select appropriate planning book and data view.

3. If there is an issue, you need to update the t.lane and recreate the orders (rerun the SNP planning engine).

4. Test the data source

Thanks,
Rajesh

Hi Veronica,

You need to use a datasource that is generated based on the 9AMALA aggregate. It allows you to extract the 9APSHIP data.

HI Rajesh,

yes the AMALA or AMALO allow me to extract the 9APSHIP but NOT the SOURCE of SUPPLY that is blank for item purchased NOT producted.

So the point is how to extract the SOURCE of SUPPLY from APO into BW system for reporting PURPOSE?

Hi Rajesh,

i try to explain me better.

I extracted the data from 9AMALA with filter on Source Location = "" ( that for me means purchased) but I extracted NO data. Why? is it necessary to apply some setting in order to extract the external procurement from 9AMALA?

Thanks in advance,

Veronica

Hi Veronica,

The source destination is available only if you maintain your vendor location and a transportation lane connecting vendor and your plant/DC locations.

If you transfer purchase info records through CIF, transportation lanes will be created automatically in APO.

Thanks,
Rajesh
