TMS QA Approval Process

Dear All,

We have planned to setup the TMS QA Approval procedure in our 4 system landscape and have setup UAT system as QA approval system. But we want to use the approval process till UAT.

Eg: We want to approve the request in SAP, before it is moved to QAS and then one more approval to UAT.

When we login to DEV with STMS_QA t-code, the requests which are waiting for the approval have a target system / client of UAT (QA Approval System). Is there any way with which we can control the approval process from DEV - QAS - UAT? We cannot use DEV as QA approval system as it is not a target of atleast one consolidation system.

Hi Krishna,

from my experience stms_qa is just possible for consolidation targets.

Quick: "Approval" of putting requests into import queue of QA is the release of the TO. Imho one possible solution would be to restrict release authorizations to some central people.

Sophisticated: Another possible approach is SAP transport workflow. Maybe this can be of some use for you (release of help page may not be fitting, but I suppose the approach is the same) :
