SSO from BI7 (BW3.x Template) to SAP EP 7.01

Hi All,

Our users log into our BW system initially to run reports using domain www.xxxxxx.co.uk and can then jump to a transaction using RRI which launches the web gui via the EP. Problem occurs because the EP is on a different domain xxxxxxxx.xxx.xx.xxxxxx.co.uk and so when the SSO cookie MYSAPSSO2 is sent the domains don't match and so the user is prompted to log into the EP.

How do we get around this? I have tried the suggestion from this posting :- https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/Multi+domain+SSO but that doesn't appear to work.

I have read most of the posts for SSO but they all assume logging in via the EP first which is not the case here. Just to be clear SSO is working just fine if the user launches the report directly within the same domain. Our issue stems from the fact that the users access the BW system from an external URL which is then redirected via the Web Dispatcher to the BW system.

Any help greatly appreciated.
