Hi All,

Good Morning. I'm new to Crystal Report so my question my sound trivial and hopefully someone can give me some help. Thanks

My IT has just installed the Crystal Report 2016 on my PC, but when i first start up the program. It got this "Internet Connection Failure" message at the start page. I tried this suggestion at https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3487011, but no luck.

Then i tried swapping the "start.html" and "offlinestart.html" file. And now i got this error message:

Access Denied (policy_denied) Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL. For assistance, contact your network support team.

*Remarks: i can reach the http://www.businessobjects.com/ipp/crystalreports/start/2008/default.asp?destination=CR%20StartPage with IE without problems with the proxy setting my IT given me.

Clearly the internet connection is blocked by our IT but i don't think there is any chance they will change the policy for me.

My questions are,

  1. will there be a way to configure the Crystal Report to work with my current settings?
Any settings / configures on Crysral Report that i can try?
  2. If the other settings / configure need to change, what will they be?

Any helps are appericated. :)
Thanks & Best Regards
