When processing a large number of articles in mass maintence (MM46), a process mode message appears stating that "You Fave Selected X Records", requesting that All articles be displayed, Change in background or cancel.
How and where can I change the setting to increase the number (or set an unlimited value) of articles for this?
(note X denotes the number of records)
Thanks in advanced

hi, have not directly worked on retail related mass maintenace transaction but i beleive this works same as MM17 and message you are getting - "You have Selected X Records" is correct and X should represent all the avaialble materials based on your condition in MM46 initial screen. Check if number of records appearing in this message is same as what you get from SE16 - MAW1 table.
whay do you think MM46 is showing less number of entries then what you should have? any basis for this?

The message is displaying the complete list of articles, and when tyhe "Display all records" option is selected, all records are displayed.
What I am saying is that I believe there is an Administration setting, that can be adjusted so that the the processing mode message does not appear at all - and I would like to know how to do this.
I dont think there is an admin setting or even a restriction.
SAP is just calculating the potential maximum number of records according to the join that is created in background based on the selection criteria you entered.
It can be a very high number in calculation , and SAP actually reads this number of records in memory, but finally it may presents less according to other fields in your selection.
this pop-up is a warning, you should think about the number, can it be correct? if yes continue, if not then cancel and do a better selection.
