Target Group with Person IDs (including their status)

Hello experts,

I have created an Infoset to get the status of a BP, so BUT000 > CRM_JSTO > CRM_JEST

Then I created a data source for BUT000-PARTNER_GUID.
But in this case I only get the status of organizations. How can I get the Contact Persons instead (regardless of them having a contact person relationship or not)

I didn't get it to work via the GP-Typ field in the data source.

Thanks,
chris

Hi Chris,

I think you can try with BUT000_PER table instead of BUT000 for contact person related information irrespective of relationship or not. please check once.

Hi Apoorv,

I've tried with BUT000_PER connected to the status tables and also to BUT000.

I've entered BUT000_PER into the data source in fields 'Business Partner' and 'Reference Object'.

This leads to a target groups with persons but the status (if used in the segment builder as filter) is applied to the organizations still.

So it gives me e.g. all contact persons of 'active' organizations instead of 'active' persons.

Do I have to build up the data source differently?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris

Yes create a new.infoset with BUT000_PER and the status tables. This is simiilar to your previous infoset just replace BUT000 with BUT000_PER.

Now create the data source with BUT000_PER partener guid in business partner field.

Try.this if it works.

Thanks

Hi Apoorv,

yes, I've tried with BUT000_PER and put it in the data source.

But:

This leads to a target groups with persons but the status (if used in the segment builder as filter) is applied to the organizations still.

So it gives me e.g. all contact persons of 'active' organizations instead of 'active' persons.

What can I do to change that?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Apoorv,

I finally found the answer. Apparently in the Infoset it sets automatically the BP_TYpe to Organizations. So I had to manually change that to Persons in the code. Now it works 🙂

Thanks anyway,
