reports pls help

hai all ,

my first query.

I AM WORKING ON THE INFOCULE 0IC_CO3(MATERIAL MOVEMENTS). I AM GENERATING REPORTS ON THIS CUBE . BUT THE DATA IN THE REPORTS IS NOT MATCHING WITH DATA IN THE REPORTS GENERATED IN R/3 ( IN R/3 THEY GOT ONE ONE TRANSACTION (MB5B) WHICH IS GIVING THE SAME REPORTS .

I AM FOLLOWING ALL THE REQUIRED STEPS AS FIVEN IN THE DOCUMENT(WORKING WITH THE INEVNTORY MANAGEMENT SCENARIOS)

THE MARGIN OF ERROR IS ABOUT 5% .SO PLS ADVICE ME WHAT CAN I POSSIBULLY DO . BECAUSE MY CLIENT WANT THE EXACT RESULT. PLS HELP ME.

i got some very good answers thanks all.

MY SECOND QUERY IS .

i have to say my issue is 50% solved . About the data in the reports(comparing R/3 and BW) the problem is the total quantity stock is exactly matching but the no of issues and no of receipts are different(example in R/3 no of receipts (50) - no of issues (20) = toatl stock (30) and in BW no of receipts (70) - no of issues (40) = toatl stock (30)) but the irony is the total stock for all the materials is same in both R/3 and BW . can some body explain what is this bahaviour .

thanks in advance.

Rgds,

Ravindra.

    Hi Ravindra,

please avoid to post the same question twice (as community guideline)...

however, about the first question I have already answered..about your second question you have to highlight a sample of you stock (only one material code, for example, and only for one period) and compare all PSA movements that you collected in BW with all MSEG document in R/3 too see where is the difference....probably in BW your update rules BW considers even not valuated movements...

    Hope it helps!

    Bye,

    Roberto
