PS R,

If you have a test system, then I would try the fix there. You never know, it may be OK in your system...

If you do try the fix, then ensure you test IW28, IW38 and IW37N to make they dont dump.

Yes - 2172367 is the same Pilot Note we were given, but it screws-up many of the PM list-edit reports like IW29, IW39, IW49N, etc..

They are working on another fix..

Hi Atkin,

Since the issue is not in HANA EHP7 system, will you still suggest not to apply these notes in ECC system till we get another fix...

For future reference...

When you double-click on a work center in IA09, the system populates the Plant field with the Work Centre data:

You also get an error message: Entry MECH does not exist in T001W (check entry)

The current 1672178 OSS Note only partially fixed the issue in that it no longer populates the Plant field, but instead leaves it blank, so it still doesn't work correctly.

At the time of writing, SAP are working on the fix.

Hi Peter Atkin,

Thanks for the information, I got an update from SAP to apply SAP Note 2172367 to fix the issue.

Request to look into this .

All

We have the same issue in our HANA EHP7 system.

OSS Note 1672178 only partially fixed the issue, then we received a Pilot Note from SAP which made things MUCH worse...

They are still working on it...

I will update you when we get a fix.

Hi PS R,

Have you tried to implement the SAP note in your Development System? Alternatively you could raise an OSS message with SAP asking for the SAP note to be extended up to 617.

Venkatesh..

Ar any error messages being issued?

If so, can you return the full message text including message number.

Hi,

SAP note 1672178 contains some manual corrections that should resolve this issue.

Hi Gary,

Thank you for your response.

The recommended SAP note 1672178 is valid for component SAP_APPL release upto 606 only whereas our component is on higher side i.e. 617.

Request to suggest in this regard.

Hi Venkat,

I apologize for the delay ,

I would like to clarify that Work center is created with plant maintenance usage and when I navigate to task lists through IA 09 from task lists I could able navigate to the work center. Whereas, when I double click on work center in IA 09 , I am unable to navigate to the work center.

Appreciate your help
