Hi experts,

I wanted to understand the concept of ONE TIME CUSTOMER..

I tried to find in this forum and google, failed to find...

Is it that we use standard account group and its just that check mark that we do while creating that particular account grp for one time customer.

what are COD accounts used for and difference between COD and one time customer.

May be there is something which I am missing here, please can any one who knows the concept help me.

Agreed this is a very basic question, but i didn't find anywhere explaining the concept in terms of why this is created.

Can you tell me how we will come to know whether the customer would be the one time customer or regular at START??

I didn't find anywhere explaining COD accounts. if we have ONE TIME customer option why do we use COD accounts?

Hello,

Typically if a a Customer is buying Goods from you only once or twice & he will not come back in future, it is better to go for Once time Customer Account. Also if he is paying by Cash & needs immediate Delivery (No Delivery in future) then One Time Customer is used.

I believe COD Accounts are used in SAP CRM for Internet / Mail-Order Deliveries. Please refer ethe below link:

Hi,

I am telling u what is one-time-customer

I f we have cash sale process in ur company then it is use full.

any customer ll come and pick the goods then customer ll pay the bill and take the goods.

for this purpose we ll create one customer account group which no-range is very less.

we create a dummy customer and we ll sale the goods.

and one more thing we did not know that customer will buy goods next time or not.

one time customer is used in other process like exhibition sales.

one time customer is used mainly in FOOD industry

Hi Abhishek,

One time customer means when ever you have to create the account group by that time you don't want mention/give the all fields for that particular customer i mean you don't want mention address and also that customer is only parmenent for  that document not saved in data base also.

HI Abhi!

   One time customer is a single customer code that we use for more then one customer sale. you can say for different customer sale just with in one code. for example when we sale scrap after two or three days and as you know scrap is not the product of a company. we sale it different people and we dont make the record of that customer. when we going to sale, open one time customer like 100005 it is also changeable during the process we change the name of new person and sale it and for next time when we sale to other customer can change the name of 100005 and sale with same code but different name again. i hope you know well now.
