Is automation of Authorization possible?

Dear All,

I'm working within a retail company and have to create new users (by copying) within the SAP Retail, BW and HRM environment. Is there any solution to make this automated (so in each environment make the same copy for all).

Another question, is there a possibillity to make de-blocking and generate new passwords (and send them to their e-mail) automated as well, I was thinking of a win-shuttle myself, but I'm still rather new with SAP. But almost certain that there must be an easier/faster way. Many thanks in advance!!

Hi,

SAP IDM helps in centrally managing the user administration. Refer the link http://scn.sap.com/community/netweaver-idm  for more information. SAP IDM can manage users within SAP and non-SAP systems.

You can also have look at SAP Central User Administration (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/bf/b0b13bb3acd607e10000000a11402f/content.htm)  if your looking for solution withing SAP landscape only. However SAP CUA has some limitaition because of which SAP recommends SAP IDM.
