webservice beginner

Hi,

I have WEB AS 6.20 installed without java. Are webservices still available to me? Or do they come with WAS java part?

There is limited ability to work with WebServices in ABAP 620. Mostly you have the ability to expose RFCs as webservices. However in 640 there is extensive functionality in ABAP to both call and expose webservices.
