Hi Gurus,
User has uploaded latest forecast upto march 2013 into table S094.He executed for a particular material MD04 report.Out put is as follows.
Totaled for month
Period Requirements available quantity
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stock 1200
Apr 2012 2388
May 2012 5432
June 2012 1234
July 2012 5432
Aug 2012 4328
Sep 2012 6573
Oct 2012 8543
Nov 2012 2345
Dec 2012 8602
Jan 2012 0768
Feb 2012 5468
Mar 2012 8765
-----------------------------
59878
Then he has executed MRN1 report for the same material with Lower limit and upper limit dates as 30.04.2012 , weighted factor table maintained for all periods with value 1. Under material consumption button He has selected radio button "Determin consumption via user exit" (in first radio button first date is 01.04.2012 running date 24.04.2012 in second radio button from date 24.04.2012 upper limit date 31.03.2013) . then output is as follows. Base price selected as current price.
Material Average stock Average consumption range of coverage
xxxxxx 2500 1100 2.27
Now he is saying MRN1 report is not calculating slow stock provision correctly. He is saying MRN1 has to take 1200/59878 (Available qty/sum of requirments )= 0.020 .
1) Is this correct comparision of MRN1 with MD04?
2)MD04 is displaying i hope forecast values upto 2013 march , then MRN1 will take into account the same forecast values while calculationg range of coverage?
3)How can we say that MRN1is calculating correctly?
4) is there any wrong in selection parameters?
Please provide your suggestions.
Thanks & regds
