tms check External Deployers failing for BODS CTS+ config

Hi all. We're working through trying to get CTS+ set up for BODS 4.2. We had it working on a single system Domain, but now that we're in our production environment we have a Domain controller and a communication system to contend with. The Domain Controller and Comm system are NOT the same system, one is prod and one is Dev. Don't ask why, it just is. It also works for existing CTS+ configuration with another Java System, so the basic plumbing is there (web services, ctsdeploy, etc.)

I've gone through the setup doc with as much diligence as possible - Data Services Export management works, user IDs seem to be correct, RFCs have been set up and work (http rc 200 at least), but.... when I run TMS check for any of them, I get an error for External Deployers section - APPL.BODS Errors in test of appl. BODS, deployer... and in typical TMS check fashion, no more detail is available.

I also ran RSTMSTPT in verbose mode, but all that shows me is the dreaded INTERFACE_NOT_OK error, which is less than useful.

So - anyone have any idea what the problem is here? The CTS system is NW7.4sp10, the DS system is 4.2sp6, so we're meeting the requirements there. The test setup in our Sandbox seemed to work properly, no idea why this would not work. I'm guessing that it's something in the communication between the Domain Controller, Comm system and the RFCs, but without some way to pinpoint it, I'm running in the dark with scissors.

Thoughts, comments, ridicule all accepted.

Thanks

Bernie

Thanks, Matt. On a side note, after leaving the country and enjoying a New Year's weekend, the problem has miraculously resolved itself and I have no idea how it was fixed. So from now on if I have an insurmountable problem I'm simply going to log off for 5 days, leave the country and enjoy myself. It'll be fixed when I return. AWESOME!!

But I'd still like to know how to extract more information from the TMS check.

grrr......

If only all resolutions were so easy (and enjoyable, presumably).

Report RSTMS_NONABAP_SUPPORT (available on SAP NetWeaver 7.40, starting with SP10 or with CTS plug-in from SL Toolset 1.0 SP12 on) may be able to give some more details (depending on error level/situation...).
