Spare Parts and Tools

Hi All,

I am new to SAP and the creating of work centers. I am a mechanical designer that has been given the project to track all the spare parts and tools used in our production facility. I assume that I need to create work cnters in SAP EAM do you where I can get some help with this.

Hi Dan,

While there are probably some folks lurking about the MII community who can answer your question, I would recommend posting your question in either the EAM or Manufacturing communities as more pertinent to their application area.

     I will head over to the EAM group. I was reading about WM and was wondering if I could use a warehouse with fixed bins for spare parts for the maintenance techs.
