Budget Checking on PO/PR Gross Value when Cenvatable conditions are Maintained

Hi All,

1. When Creating PO with Cenvatable Conditions which are not loaded on Material, Budget is Checking on only Material Price. System is not considering the tax amount.

Eg: PO Base Price = 100

Cenvat  = 50 Not Loaded on Material

Then budget checking is happening for 100 only.

2. When Creating PO with Cenvatble Conditions which are to be loaded on Material Price, Commitment Budget is checking.with whole value.

Eg: PO Base Price = 100

Cenvat  = 50 Loaded on Material

Then budget checking is happening for 150.

Can anybody share me some information about this system behaviour.

Thanks & Regards

SAM

Hi Sam,

If I am correct you have defined a commitment item against the Stock Gl Account. Against this

commitment item and fund center you must have maintained the Budget.

So the system will check what amount is getting posted in the Stock Account and accordingly

it will consume the budget. Also please check the settings you may have maintained under

Actual and Commitment Update/Integration------> Make Other Settings.

Hope this helps you in clarifying your doubt.

Hi Dhruv,

Thanks for your reply,

We have defined commitment Item (CI200000) against Stock GL Account, and against which we maintained Budget for Fund center(F05555) and that Commitment Item (CI200000).

1) But when we have opted for Taxes (Excise Duty) - Cenvatable conditions - Cenvat Credit Amount available is not loaded on Material price, hence budget is not checking for Amount available for cenvat Credit.

               Base Price = 100

Excise Duty (Available for Credit) = 50 (Not Loaded on Material)

Then budget checking is happening for 100 only.

2) Taxes (ED) - Non Cenvatable conditions i.e. Cenvat not available for credit - Tax part of amount is loaded on Material Price, budget is checking for the whole value.

                Base Price = 100

Excise Duty (not available for Credit) = 50 Loaded on Material

Then budget checking is happening for 150.
