Missing records in ODS

Hi all,

I have following problem. When I am uploading data from csv files into BW. Everything in monitor is OK. But when I am looking into administration of ODS, there is an information that transferred records is for example 20 and added records is for example 16. Supposing that records are not duplicated, what can cause this problem ???

Hi dear,

if you don't have any deletion in your routine (but you can see that in some message of your detail monitor screen!), the reason can be only one:

you have a key field combination in your ODS for which several records belong to a unique key field combination !

If you have

Material, month and qty in your file and in the ODS you have only material as key, you will have only one record for each material even if in your file you have three records for the same one (but one row for january, another one for feb...and so on!)

Hi JJ,

U will get added records are lesser than or equal to the total records. Bçoz u may doing some validation in Update Rules or overwriting of records in ODS. Its all depends upon ur data.
