Do a New Condition Record Number is Generated for VK12

Dear Gurus...

I want to update mt customized z table for pricing conditions using BADI.

When we go for VK11(Create), a new Condition Record Number(KNUMH) is generated.

But if we go for VK12(Change), do a new condition record number(KNUMH) is generated or the previous condition record number get updated using current data....? kindly guide me..
