Is this error displayed while running the application.

Does it display a error stack trace.?

Does the version of NDS and your WebAS match ?

If you see the server green in the J2EE engine tab in the webDynpro perspective then there should no be any problme with the server.

The error if it occurs from the application then try printing something in the wdDoInit() i.e the prinint statement should be the first statement in your view.

If the statement gets printed then it might be that you have missed out to set some important property in one of the UI elements that you hvae used in your view.(e.g. value property of the InputField)

Please provide the stacktrace for further assistance if required.
