Hello Shashidhar,
Regardless of the time zone of the box or the time zone of the customer , the scheduling of the Sales / STO documents happens internally in "UTC" timestamp and finally the schedule lines are updated with the relevant time zone of the customer.
I live in CET time zone, however our APO box was set up in EST time zone for more than two years and we have never seen any issue because as I already told all the calculations happen only in the UTC time format.
However, if you schedule a batch job (Be it batch BOPs or normal jobs) - you should be careful about the timings by converting it to the time that you actually wanted (your time zone).
Get back to us if you have more questions on this one.
Thank you

Shashidhar,
I don't know what you mean by issues. APO is designed to run in multiple time zone, and remain consistent. The biggest problem is typically with users who do not understand that the whole world does not use 'their' time zone.
Read online help to get a general idea of the process.

OSS has many notes which deal with specific time zone and time scheduling issues. Search OSS if you run into something that you don't understand.
