Multivalue error from detail object after merging dimensions in WebI

HI experts,

I have merged 2 queries

Query1(Delivery) contains

·         Delivery num

·         Delivery Item

       Reference number

QuQuery2(Sales) contains

·         Sales order

·         Sales Item

·         Material

I merged Reference number and Sales Oder number, after merging I was getting incompatible object error while trying to add Delivery Num and Delivery Item to report layout, so I created a variable and made it detail  =[ Delivery Num]and associated it with merged dimension  and same as detail=[ Delivery Item]

It worked fine for Delivery Number. But a Delivery number may contain many Delivery item,(1:N relationship) and Delivery item is not getting segregated. Hence I am getting #MULTIVALUE ERROR

I have gone thru many formus and no where there is a solution to this.

Does anyone know alternate method to add incompatible object to report after merging, instead of converting it to detail?

Please Help.

Thanks in advance

    HI ,

Try to   to check the option 'Avoid Duplicate Row Aggregation' for the table.

and please refer to the sap KBAs

1339858 - #DATASYNC error when using Detail objects which are not associated with a linked (merged) dimension in a WebIntelligence report

    and

1196849 - How to resolve #DATASYNC, #MULTI VALUE errors in webi reports

    for more details.

    Regards,

    Fadoua

Avoid Duplicate Row aggregation is not populating correct key figure values.

Does anyone know alternate method to add incompatible object to report after merging, instead of converting it to detail?
