index management service is not running

Hi,

Sorry that I'm posting again in this forum as I was not getting answers in Knowledge Mgt forum. Its kind of urgent.

Previously we have our trex server running fine and search was working fine. Today I found out that document search is not working. Then when i want to see the indexes created under Sys Admin >Sys Config >KM-->Index Admin, then i get a message "index management service is not running". Why am I getting this error.

I have seen the Trex Monitor and everything is green, but Name Server is disabled. Do I have to enable Name Server too.

Any clues or suggestion as why I'm not able to see indexes and getting message "index management service is not running"
