WD ALV Standard View Issue

Hello Guys,

We enhanced standard SAP delivered WD Application. we rearrranged ALV columns. Now for some users, Standard View variant is displaying the rearranged ALV column view (which is what we want) and for few users, the standard view variant is completely different.

As we cannot Save Standard View variant, we are not sure why this issue is ocurring? Could you please help?

Hi Chandra,

Did those few users probably personalize their ALV-settings? The personalization would overwrite your enhancement.

Did you try debugging with either user (one which works and one which doesn't?).

I used WD application wd_analyze_config_user to analyze the personalization settings of the affected user and then deleted the entry with Standard View varient and now it is working fine.

But still I am not sure how the entry got created for Standard View as there is no option to save it??
