Query rendering on portal 7.3

We have recently upgraded our QA system to portal 7.3.

However, queries rendered on the portal are no longer displayed in full width. It's therefore necessary to use the left / right arrow buttons to display the hidden parts of the query.

Is there a customising setting that controlls the default width that's rendered on the portal?
