Data load status turns to red w/o any error

Hi,

End user was getting dump TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED

while data loading.I asked him to reduce package size.

Now the dump problem is solved , but the request turns to

red & if i check where its failed it showing process still running w/o any errors.But the overall status is red

Please assist

Hai Anitha,

Sometimes as depending on the data, the status shows red for some time initially. It doesn't mean that the load is failed. As the system says its still running. Wait for like 1/2 day and if you still see the same thing, you can set the QM status to red and delete the request(if its loaded to ODS or Cube). If its in PSA< you can just delete the request in PSA itself.

Anyway to resolve this message

TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED without reducing the package size. We are using the same parameters on Prod as Q. We test in Q and works but fails in Prod.

Hi Anita,

Does this happen to this particular IP or to all of them? There is a setting in BW that sets status to red if load is not finished. It's called "maximum waiting time" and could be set from the Monitor screen.
