Mapping XML Excel ( Error 2048 )

Hello ,

If I have the XML file sitting locally on my pc and I preview the dashboard locally, it reads the file and returns the results through a List View without any issues or errors.

When I move the XML file to a shared folder on the BOE server, update the XML connection to read from the new path and export the dashboard to BOE.....I get the 2048 error.

We have the Cross Domain(see below) sitting in the WebApps>ROOT directory, error still occurs + we've tested directly on the BOBJ box where the xml file is sitting, so it's not really going across domains at that point.

This is the path we are using...
\\<server>\<shared folder>\Example.xml

The person who set up the shared folder gave it basically Full Control for everyone......so I don't think permissions is an issue.

Also, our QaaWs queries run just fine, it's just the xml file that is not reading.

I've never attempted to read an xml off a server, just locally, so I think it's something with the path that I'm not getting right. If someone has any experience with this I would really appreciate some advice.
