Batch determination and ATP check

Hi Guys,

Material A with batch characterisc value: A00    stock: 50 pc

Material A with batch characterisc value: A01    stock: 50 pc

A sales order had comfirmed material A for 100 pc. I had actiavte automatic batch determiantion for delievry. And the criteria for automatic batch determination record is to pick up batches with characterisc value: A00.   Therefore, only  50 pc are available in delivery.

Does it make sense?  I guess it would make the ATP caculation inaccurate.

To me, YES IT MAKES SENSE. You tell the system to pick stock with characteristic value A00, so the system can pick only 50 pc. What is wrong with it? How can it pick from A01 unless you tell the system to pick?

It looks for the sales order, you have switched off automatic batch determination. Check in t.code V/CA, whether auto batch determination is checked for sales order item category. If not, then check and test again from sales order.

I had tried activated auto batch determination for sales order before.however, since sales order wasn't able to do batch split it only confirmed 50 pc  even there're 100 pc material A with batch characterisc value: A00(batch 1 + batch 2).

check the sale order procurement type it for mto, mts , are any thing , and also, you  can check the mb51 batch wise stock
