Problem with the personal work schedule

Good day consultants,

Previously .. I changed the dates for the Holiday Calendar for 2012 and make as following:

1. 18.08.2012
2. 19.08.2012
3. 20.08.2012
4. 21.08.2012

and thanks to you guys I knew how to Generate the work schedules so my changes on the Holiday Calendar will take place.

My problem now is strange …

The System is not reading the 18^th of August as a Holiday !! and just reading the dates from 19^th till 21^st as a Holiday in August.

I checked the work schedule from PT03 and the dates are correct !! but when I test to apply for a leave, it’s given me 18^th of

August as a working day.

1. I picked one employee and checked his personal work schedule (from infotype 2001 --> Personal work schedule) and found out the 18^th in not configured as a Holiday.

Why the system is given this different dates between pt03 and personal work schedule ? and how to fix the issue.

Check whether you have assigned Holiday Class correctly  or not Check once again Have you maintained correct Date for that holiday Dont forget to reward

All for the 4 days (Mentioned above) are mentained as a Holiday with Holiday class 1, but my problem is only with 18th .... other dates are fine

Hi Hussain,

Onething I wanted to ask,

Have you checked "religion denomination" while creating Public holiday on 18.02.2012.

If yes please remove that then save the holiday..

Transport Holiday calender.

Again generate the work schedule .

Please try this and update.

Also you need to check Counting rule, whether you have checked Holiday class 1 or what.

Keep all options Blank and need to check only "Not a public holiday"

Although it mayor may not be a relevant solution but this also affects personnel work schedule in your absence infotype.

Please try this also and update.

You are right, i found out the religion was there, i compared it with all other holidays and there don't have thr religion denomination

Thats great,

May be that particular EE doesnt fall under that Religion.

So it is not needed to maintain that.

Hi Hussain,

You please go to the list of Public holidays and click on the Holiday which you have mentioned on 18.08.2012.

Please check whether you have maintained Holiday class 1 or not with this public holiday.

Even though if you have not maintained holiday class 1, this holiday will trigger in Public holidays list but It will not be counted as Holiday in work schedule.

Please do not forget to TRANSPORT holiday calender after making any bit of change in Holidays.

Check and update.

Thanks for your response, i checked the Holidays i menteained from SCAL and the 18th of August is mentioned as a holiday with Holiday class 1
