Error while Deleting Payroll posting

Hi Experts,

In one of the Payroll Area, for an Employee Number 55 we have given LOP from 11.03.2012 to 31.03.2012 and processed the Payroll and done the Live posting, but the documents were not posted. Later on came to know that the employee has resigned from that 10.03.2012. So when I try to delete the payroll result I'm getting an error " Deletion forbidden! Result was posted with posting run 0000000007 (run type PP)". So I clicked the Run and deleted the payroll results for all the employees in the Payroll Area. It has successfully happend from Employee Number 1 - 53, but from Employee Number 54 - 70  when I again try to delete the Payroll posting, now the status in the Display posting runs has changed to Deletion is running. Due to this I'm unable to Go - Live and the salary is not processed. Please advice me how to proceed further.

Hi Somu,

I also experienced the same issue and I got it resolved now.

All need to do it to check with your BASIS team that SAP NOTE 1667322 is applied in your server or not.

This notes enables complete deletion of old payroll postings.

Once this SAP note is applied you will be able to delete those postings and your issue can be fixed..

This is what I did and I got the solution.

Hi Priya,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I have checked the mentioned note 1667322, this note is not applicable for our patch level.

Our system is on Ehp5. Where as the note is applicable upto Ehp4 only.

Any other solutons??

Not sure,

May be you can exclude the terminated EE from selection screen and then Run payroll posting...

Did you maintain HR_PAYROLL _RESULTS_UNREGISTER is SE 37 and deleted payroll posting?

Yeah we have to maintain the HR_PAYROLL _RESULTS_UNREGISTER is SE 37and then delete the payroll results. Once you have deleted the payroll results, then re - run the  payroll and can do a live posting again.
