Components of business function FIN_REP_SIMPL_1 and FIN_REP_SIMPL_2

Hello BW-Experts,

I'm trying to extract the data of the material calculation into our bw-system.

So I activated the datasources 0CO_PC_PCP_10 and 0CO_PC_PCP_20 in our source system.

When checking the extractor with transaction RSA3 in the source system, it returns an error because "Business Function "Reporting Financials" is not switched on" (Message no. SREP_FIN001).

Now, after searching for this business function, we have to activate the business function FIN_REP_SIMPL_1 and/or FIN_REP_SIMPL_2 in our source system. We have ECC 6.0 with EhP 04 installed, but I don't have a great experience with activating those business function.

So, my question is, where I can find a list what programms or functions will be added to our system to make sure it doesn't affect our current process.

I found some documentation in help.sap.com/spf, but it doesn't explain which programs are affected.

Hi check

you have to switch on the business function "Reporting Financials" . Go to the SAP source System -> TA: SFW5.

Look for Reporting Financials and turn it on

thanks for your reply.

Sure, I could switch this business function on.

But, once a business function is activated, I'm not able to undo this activation.

What I need is a list of programs that are affected by this business function.
