Installing Virutalbox guess extensions on Hana Express 2.0

I've got the HXE 2.0 with applications downloaded and running on a Windows 7 machine with Virtualbox. I need to install the Virtualbox Guest Extensions so that it will play nice. From my research it looks like SuSE 12.1 already has the guess extensions installed but it's not on Hana Express. I assume this is because they removed it to free up space.

I've found instructions on how to install the extensions on SuSE 12.1 but when I try typing;

"sudo zypper in gcc make"

I get a warning message;

"Warning: No repositories defined. Operating only with the installed resolvables. Nothing cab be installed".

In the process of cutting the VM down did they remove the ability to install anything else? If not, are there instructions on how to do it?

Hi Joe,

HANA Express "Developer License agreement" states that:

Maintenance/updates for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications shall only be obtainable via SUSE's PartnerNet portal (“PartnerNet”) and in order to obtain maintenance/updates You must register for membership in SUSE’s PartnerNet program.

After you have registered for membership in PartnerNet program, please register the subscription at suse customer center scc.suse.com.

This should allow you to install additional packages.
