HTML-Viewer and EasyWebTransaction

Hi!

I created an R/3-Transaction, where some informations (stored in Word/Pdf-files on hard disks accessable from every client) kann be displayed in a HTML-Viewer.

Using the SAPGui for Windows this transaction works fine.

Now I have to use this transaction for our ITS-based ESS.

The HTML-Viewer displays only informations with HTTP-Urls.

No "local" files are displayed.

I'm using the method show_url (cl_gui_html_viewer).

Which is the release of the ITS?

Hi Peter,

I remember an error in the HTML-viewer with displaying if a URL not starting with http has been used.

Would you please try the report SAPHTML_DEMO1 and type in a URL pointing to a local file (file:///c:/foobar.jpg).

Is it displayed?

I just tried this with ITS 620 PL18 and it works. What is the release/patch you are using?
