trying to make a user table

Hello to all!

i am trying to make a new user table. its name is CHM and is as follows

after the creation, i tried to make some new fields in Items Master Data

its name is Pickflg

now i am trying to Link this field with the table created above but it does not let me do it because the Length is changed by trying to link the table

and does not let me change th length to number 10

do you have any uidea about it?how can i add this field to Item Master Data
