Planned order XXXXX is only allowed for make-to-order production

Hi Sap guru's

Can any one help me out below issue. while doining T.code mfbf through make to stock system is displaying above error.

Dear Ramesh,

In T.code MFBF,first click on the tab - Make to Order and then Enter this planend order and check the

impact.

I guess this would resolve the issue.

This planned order is probably not MTS. You can check on MD12, on the tab assignment, that an account assignment category and a special stock are set and that there is a link to a sales order.

If this is an MTO planned order, you should select the appropriate tab on MFBF to backflush.

You can try to remove the account assignment category, to turn the MTO planned order into MTS, but this is not always possible.

HI,

check Basic data 2 view in material master, whether it has material is configurable indicator tick....

if it is ticked we can do confirmation by co11n tcode not by MFBF...

For MFBF confirmation , we have to tick repetitive mfg indicator in MRP4 view of MM...

also check strategy group in MRP 3 , whether it has 40(make to stock) or 25(make to order)...

Because co11n for make to order..

MFBF for repetitive manufacturing(make to stock)...

do check and revert back...

Check the order type should be PE in REM and also check the strategy assigned to material in MM.
