For an equipment assigned to a superior equipment when I am saving the UD I get the following message.
Status check error
The function you carried out cannot be selected.
Lock PRT from use.
I used QE51N to record the results, complete the confirmation, and access the UD.
Despite the message, the work order is TECO, and confirmation recorded, and the inspection lot is successfully completed.
But why is this message coming?

For Equipment PRT, the system is checking the status of Equipment.I think PRT (which is an equipment) is assigned in routing for some operations so its a good practice to lock the PRT.If you want to make the equipment unavailable for use, there is an option of locking the PRT in PRT Data Tab that way when availability check is executed, the PRT is shown as unavailable.In the PRT master record you can lock it for further use,if you have created as equipment then go to equipment in change mode and in the PRT tab you can lock.
