what's the significance of added and transferred columns in the same?

R the values always different? in what scenarios they should be different?

Hey,

Records which are in transferred column are the records came upto update rules...that means total records come in to bw..But there might be many combinations which are same..so after update rules how many records are added to the target are the added records..so we cannot say whether transferred records are alwasy same with added records or differ..that purely depend upon the data...

Yes they are different

transferred recs = records in Extract checker(RSA3)

added recs = fact table recs

The values will not be equal, if an update rule changes the number of rows. This happens by deleting from data package if data doesn't match a condition, aggregation or allocation on characteristic (or their combination).
