Help required for Search Operation on Gateway OData

Hi

I am trying for search operation on gateway oData , I am generating below URL after accepting input from the user

http://uscinc2b7s3.noam.tcs.com:8010/sap/opu/sdata/sap/ztcs_coe_campaign/Campaign?$filter=EXTERNALID eq'C-00000003'

when I use the above URL in browser I can get the desired atom format file which is similar to collection file.but when I am sending this URL as request using the method

ISDMRequest sRequestsrch = TrialApp.buildRequest(searchURL, this);

requests.addRequest(sRequestsrch);

TrialApp.getInstance().getRequestmanager().makeRequest(requests);

the responseXML generated says application error ,in debugging mode I replaced the responseXML with the atom file which I got using browser, the parser is able to parse the same data but I could not understand while making request why it is sending the error file.Request your help in resolving the issue.

Thanks

Santosh

    Try the URL above. My guess is you are not using escape sequences in you code and this could be causing the search to fail.
